American Ninja Warrior

Hey everyone!

I hope everyone is having a great summer! Did you notice something different about tonight's post?

Well, if you are an avid reader, I'm sure you have. Tonight's post's title is not a Coldplay song. (That sentence came out weird).

I'm sitting here next to my mother watching a TV show called "American Ninja Warrior"

Have you guys seen this show??

In my opinion it is Wipeout on steroids. Now, I'm sure the competitors aren't on steroids, it's just an expression.

People from all over the country train for years (no joke) to get a shot at a million dollars.

They go through these crazy obstacles trying to get the best time for completing the course. The top ten competitors from the semi-finals compete at "Mount Midoriyama" in Japan, which is the "birth place" of Ninja Warrior.

I'm posting a short video so you guys can see what I'm talking about.  Check this out

This show is truly amazing, some people make the courses look SO easy! Others, not so much. You only get one chance to complete the course. If your foot hits the water or anything, you "fail".

If you guys liked Wipeout, you will love this show.

Alright guys! Short post tonight but I have something really exciting to tell you about tomorrow when I write. I can't wait to tell you!

I have added a "Share It" Gadget at the bottom of my blog so you can share my page. I would love to have this blog get somewhere! I would love to help anyone who needs it.

I'm here for you guys. And my next blog should help a lot of you.

Have a great night!

Patience is not simply the ability to wait - it's how we behave while we're waiting.

Warning : There is rambling. We are asked the same question over and over again while we become adults: When we are younger we say things like: Race car driver and Magician! Little do we know that our ideas on what we want to be in the future rarely stick. When I was a child I wanted to be a teacher, I think it was because I loved school and I respected my teachers, I looked up to them.  But as time went on, school wasn't so much fun anymore, it was more about discipline and our times tables. (You know, the hard stuff). I didn't like my teachers as much as I used to, so my dream of being a teacher changed pretty quickly. Of course, as I got older my dream job kept changing, it wasn't until my 13th birthday that I found the thing that stuck, Photography. My step dad bought me a Canon (I know, I know, gross) for my birthday. I took so many pictures!! And I was sure that photography was my thing, no one else's. ...

Life Changes

The year 2018 was not a good year for me. Two things that will send someone into a crippling depression happened to me... As I am still healing from this most recent one, I don't want to go into much detail. But for the rest of this post to make sense you'll need to know that Vincent and I are no longer together, after 8 years.. As time goes by I expect I will be able to open up about it. The past few years I have been stagnant. I still started a Master's program and got a new job as a manager, but I was just existing. I wasn't actually living my life. At the beginning of October I started a 6 week fitness challenge at a CrossFit gym in town. I lost 15 pounds and began to love myself again. But I still wasn't happy. It took the earth shattering, heart breaking, event to make me realize that I needed to do something about the way I have been living. I was one of those people who got up, went to work, came home and sat on the couch watching TV and waiting for the ...
