In Your Eyes

I apologize that the title of this blog is not a Coldplay song, this time it's a Peter Gabriel song from 1986. 

This is probably my favorite love song..
And yes, it is because of the John Cusack movie, Say Anything. 

Also, my favorite love story. 
It really fits my life with Vince. 
We love each other but I had to move.

But enough of that, I bet you're wondering how all the studying worked for me! 

I more than doubled my last test score. I got a 67% on that test. I know, it's not the best score. 

But like I said, I more than doubled my last score. So I'm proud of that. 

Now for this next test in Business Law, I've been reading and listening to the lectures before the day that the professor goes over it in class.

That way it's more of a review in class.

Then, before the next test, which is the 11th, I'll listen to all the lectures again.

Hopefully two more times.

Week 3 - Good Morning!

 Goooooood Morning! I'm going to come right out with it. I have not been doing great at getting up early. That's because over the weekend, I decided that what I wanted to do with my extra time, was cuddle with my fiancé. It was late mornings from there. BUT! Here I am, at 6:30am, writing to you. Not Like The Movies

College is not what people think it is. In movies it's shown as one BIG party. Lots of hot people, drinking and parties. My experience in college has been somewhat like a party but nothing like college in movies. When I first moved into my dorm I expected my roommate to be my best friend and go everywhere with me. That is not the case, my roommate and I talk, but we don't go everywhere together. Honestly sometimes it can even be awkward when we are left in the same room together. My first night at the dorm I met the other girls that I share a suite with. They looked like the typical preppy girls, mean girls if I may. Turns out that they weren't as bad as I had originally thought they were. That night we went to a tye dye party. We were given a T-shirt and we could go dip our shirts in big buckets of dye. Life Changes

The year 2018 was not a good year for me. Two things that will send someone into a crippling depression happened to me... As I am still healing from this most recent one, I don't want to go into much detail. But for the rest of this post to make sense you'll need to know that Vincent and I are no longer together, after 8 years.. As time goes by I expect I will be able to open up about it. The past few years I have been stagnant. I still started a Master's program and got a new job as a manager, but I was just existing. I wasn't actually living my life. At the beginning of October I started a 6 week fitness challenge at a CrossFit gym in town. I lost 15 pounds and began to love myself again. But I still wasn't happy.
