Positivity

Warning : There is rambling. We are asked the same question over and over again while we become adults: When we are younger we say things like: Race car driver and Magician! Little do we know that our ideas on what we want to be in the future rarely stick. When I was a child I wanted to be a teacher, I think it was because I loved school and I respected my teachers, I looked up to them.  But as time went on, school wasn't so much fun anymore, it was more about discipline and our times tables. (You know, the hard stuff). I didn't like my teachers as much as I used to, so my dream of being a teacher changed pretty quickly. Of course, as I got older my dream job kept changing, it wasn't until my 13th birthday that I found the thing that stuck, Photography. My step dad bought me a Canon (I know, I know, gross) for my birthday. I took so many pictures!! And I was sure that photography was my thing, no one else's. ...

Commenting

Good afternoon! Sorry I didn't write yesterday about my "secret". What I wanted to tell you yesterday didn't end up happening. BUT! It should be happening soon so I will tell you as soon as it does happen, blogger's promise. I don't think bloggers promise is a thing, but we will make it a thing! Lately I've been hearing from some friends that you can't comment, and that the site won't let you. Today, I'm going to tell you how to comment step-by-step with pictures. First you want to obviously be on the post that you wish to comment on.  The picture right below this is what the comment box looks like. It will be a little different for you because you're not the admin of this blog. :) You want to click on the drop down menu where it says "Comment as:" Like this: Then click the option that says "Name/URL". If you want to be Anonymous, you can, but I prefer to know who I'm talking to. It will the...

American Ninja Warrior

Hey everyone! I hope everyone is having a great summer! Did you notice something different about tonight's post? Well, if you are an avid reader, I'm sure you have. Tonight's post's title is not a Coldplay song. (That sentence came out weird). I'm sitting here next to my mother watching a TV show called "American Ninja Warrior" Have you guys seen this show?? In my opinion it is Wipeout on steroids. Now, I'm sure the competitors aren't on steroids, it's just an expression. People from all over the country train for years (no joke) to get a shot at a million dollars. They go through these crazy obstacles trying to get the best time for completing the course. The top ten competitors from the semi-finals compete at "Mount Midoriyama" in Japan, which is the "birth place" of Ninja Warrior. I'm posting a short video so you guys can see what I'm talking about.   Check this out This show is truly amazing, s...

Coldplay

So if you pay attention to my blog, you may have noticed that I mention the band Coldplay A LOT. All my posts so far have been named after a Coldplay song..(minus maybe 2) This is for a couple reasons, Coldplay is my favorite band, I listen to them at least once a day. Some times I listen to them all day. It differs, like it probably does with your favorite bands. I have heard some upsetting things about them though, for instance, Family Guy makes fun of them quite often. Calls them a band that white males listen to, specifically teenagers. And people are always saying that they are just awful. I'm here to change your mind based off just the good things the band has done, as members of the community, not so much a band. Coldplay began making music in 1998, and from their very start, they have been giving 10% of everything they make to charity. Also, in 2009 they were "carbon neutral" during one of their concerts. Coldplay funded a wind farm to supply most of t...

Fix you

Hey guys! It's been awhile. I'll try to get back into my every day posting. Now that I'm on summer break, I have a little more extra time to do my rambling. Not going to lie, I'm not having a good day. Started out great, woke up to the man of my dreams, Vincent of course. And I went to have lunch with my mom and dad. After lunch, I went to train at my "new" job. I used to work at this radio station before I moved to Utah and they agreed to let me work for them during my summer back in California. They trained me on board oping, meaning I'm the person that connects the radio station to the people out in the town doing remotes. After that I walked down the street to this cute little coffee shop and waited for Vince to come pick me up, and have coffee with me. We made lunch, played some video games and then he went to school, California schools start summer a little bit later than me. After he left, not only did the day get duller, but it also w...
