Hey guys! I know its been something like two weeks since I posted, which I apologize for.
My trip back home was for more than a vacation.
I went home to California to see my grandma, she'll be 97 in December and she has really bad Dementia.
I was told by my family that I needed to see her because they didn't know how much longer she will be around.
It was such a long drive, but I had my support system, my boyfriend, with me. It made the drive fun and the visit with my grandma not so heart breaking.
I ended up seeing her twice, I made my father, her son, go with me to see her. He probably wouldn't have gone if it wasn't for me talking him into it.
This post was supposed to be a short one, I wanted to be in bed by 10pm Utah time but that probably won't happen.
Friday, two days before I was leaving for Utah I woke up with a really sore throat.. I thought I was just getting sick but when I got home from seeing my grandma I felt something in the back of my throat. When I went to look in the mirror I saw something very disturbing.
I freaked out and went to urgent care. They said it was either a tonsil infection or cancer.. and prescribed amoxicillin. Thank goodness!! It is helping, so its not cancer!
OH! School started, I'm taking some hard classes: Business Law I, Digital Imaging, Quantitative Methods for Business & Economics and Marketing Principles. I've got quite the work load this semester.
Also, the quitting soda thing never worked out, I'm pretty sure its because I went home, and even though I love him, my boyfriend doesn't have the best eating habits, and it effects me when I'm out there too.
So! Now that I have returned to my wonderful home where all I have to worry about is me, I have decided that I need to take better care of myself, I have gotten a gym pass and I'm going to start working out and eating right. Wish me luck!
How are your classes going? Let me know! I'm also still down for that Bucket List exchange so if you're interested still, comment and we can talk about it!
Hope you have a great night!

The thing in the back of your throat was scary! And your right about your dad, he would never go on his own. You are a good daughter
ReplyDeleteIt was really scary! But it's gone now. And thank you, I appreciate that.
