Strawberry Swing

As usual, today's title is from a song I'm listening to, by Coldplay, as always haha.

Sorry I didn't write yesterday. I worked all day and when I got home I packed for my trip home to California!

That's right! I got up at 6am and left for Cali at 8am! got here at 1pm. Or 2pm Utah time.

My boyfriend came over, we picked up his brother, had lunch and saw the new TMNT movie.

Before I go further into that, I am not feeling good today, I'm not sure if it's allergies or a cold but I took a Wal-dryl before the movie, which I also watched after getting 4 hours sleep and driving for 7 hours straight.

So as I'm sure you have probably guessed, I fell asleep during part of the movie..I'm not a huge  fan of the ninja turtles either.

It was an ok movie but I think it was for certain types of people: TMNT fanatics, kids or Megan Fox lovers. I am none of those things.

I only went because I knew my boyfriend really wanted to go, he enjoyed the movie. Although, he kept saying it was a pretty dark movie for Nickelodeon.

I did notice that in every shot of Megan they conveniently cut out her thumbs.

If you haven't heard about her thumbs..she has toe thumbs. They're disgusting, it was a big deal a while ago, for absolutely no reason of course.

Like really, who cares what her thumbs look like?!

Does anyone care about thumbs on someone with a body like that? haha

No, I'm not bi, but I'm comfortable enough to admire another person. And their obvious hard work.

Did you enjoy the new TMNT movie?

I have two things to follow up on!

I gave in to drinking soda the other day, sorry guys. But I've been good since!!

Also, I haven't gotten any more comments about bucket list items! I'm still interested to comment and let me know!

Writing means sharing. It's part of the human condition to want to share things - thoughts, ideas, opinions.

Life Changes

The year 2018 was not a good year for me. Two things that will send someone into a crippling depression happened to me... As I am still healing from this most recent one, I don't want to go into much detail. But for the rest of this post to make sense you'll need to know that Vincent and I are no longer together, after 8 years.. As time goes by I expect I will be able to open up about it. The past few years I have been stagnant. I still started a Master's program and got a new job as a manager, but I was just existing. I wasn't actually living my life. At the beginning of October I started a 6 week fitness challenge at a CrossFit gym in town. I lost 15 pounds and began to love myself again. But I still wasn't happy. It took the earth shattering, heart breaking, event to make me realize that I needed to do something about the way I have been living. I was one of those people who got up, went to work, came home and sat on the couch watching TV and waiting for the ...

Positivity

Warning : There is rambling. We are asked the same question over and over again while we become adults: When we are younger we say things like: Race car driver and Magician! Little do we know that our ideas on what we want to be in the future rarely stick. When I was a child I wanted to be a teacher, I think it was because I loved school and I respected my teachers, I looked up to them.  But as time went on, school wasn't so much fun anymore, it was more about discipline and our times tables. (You know, the hard stuff). I didn't like my teachers as much as I used to, so my dream of being a teacher changed pretty quickly. Of course, as I got older my dream job kept changing, it wasn't until my 13th birthday that I found the thing that stuck, Photography. My step dad bought me a Canon (I know, I know, gross) for my birthday. I took so many pictures!! And I was sure that photography was my thing, no one else's. ...

American Ninja Warrior

Hey everyone! I hope everyone is having a great summer! Did you notice something different about tonight's post? Well, if you are an avid reader, I'm sure you have. Tonight's post's title is not a Coldplay song. (That sentence came out weird). I'm sitting here next to my mother watching a TV show called "American Ninja Warrior" Have you guys seen this show?? In my opinion it is Wipeout on steroids. Now, I'm sure the competitors aren't on steroids, it's just an expression. People from all over the country train for years (no joke) to get a shot at a million dollars. They go through these crazy obstacles trying to get the best time for completing the course. The top ten competitors from the semi-finals compete at "Mount Midoriyama" in Japan, which is the "birth place" of Ninja Warrior. I'm posting a short video so you guys can see what I'm talking about.   Check this out This show is truly amazing, s...
