I'm Just Waiting Til The Shine Wears Off.

Get situated before you start reading, this is going to be a long one.

My uncle and I went to Bryce Canyon today. If you haven't gone before, you really should! It is so beautiful. There is a canyon before Bryce..I think it's called Red Canyon, GORGEOUS. Makes the drive worth it. Here check out Bryce:

After that we decided we wanted some food. So we headed to my work, but on the way to my work we went through Zion National Park. Which is another must see. I didn't take many pictures there but I do have a picture of a goat for you guys!

And in case you guys wanna get creepy, that man is not my uncle.

I had such a great time with my uncle. He is so full of wisdom. Long car rides with him aren't awkward or boring. They are full of lessons, and not boring ones. Believe me, that last thing my uncle has are boring stories.

He is on his way up north now, which saddens me slightly. I don't see him very often.

Also, I just want to thank my friend Theodore for being here for me. He is one of the best friends I have and probably will ever have. He's been my friend since 2010 I believe ? A long time. We had a rough patch for a while, which was one of the most depressing years of my life.

Although, he finally figured out that what he did was wrong and we are close again! He reads my blog every night and he is what keeps me going. He makes me want to write to you guys. Even if he is the only one reading this haha.

Thought I should give a little shout out to him, he deserves it!

On to my babbling!!

So I made a bucket list recently. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's a list of things you would like to do before you pass on. Some people don't like them because they are depressing, to me it's more of a list of goals than a death list, which some weirdos call it.

I'll tell you my first three and I will share one more every time I get a comment from my readers sharing theirs. Sound like deal?
  1. Parasail
  2. Take a calligraphy class
  3. Go to New Orleans for Mardi Gras.
Alright let's see what you guys want to do! I'm really interested, you might give me a few more things to add, we shall see!

I think that's all I have for you guys right now. I'm having a brain fart (for lack of better terms).
If I think of something else tonight I will write again. Comment and tell me your bucket list items!

Life In Technicolor

I'm writing tonight's post to the song 'Life in Technicolor II' By Coldplay. I forgot how much I enjoy Coldplay. They can put me in such a relaxed mood. Almost perfect for writing. I've had a pretty bland day. I got up around 11am, which is way later than I wanted to get up.. I used my color chart, which told me I should wear lavender on Mondays.. It helps me get dressed faster in the morning ha. Anyway, I took my finals today.. It went bad for accounting, but I didn't really expect any different. Cheers to taking that class a third time! I'm not stupid I swear. I just lacked conviction lately. Which will change. My math final went pretty well..Matching graphs to equations is my downfall so I'm sure I missed a few points there, I passed the class though! When I got home I realized that I had the rest of my day to myself, some people love that feeling, nothing to do. I'm not like others, I prefer to be busy, keeps my mind off things. One of...

Life Changes

The year 2018 was not a good year for me. Two things that will send someone into a crippling depression happened to me... As I am still healing from this most recent one, I don't want to go into much detail. But for the rest of this post to make sense you'll need to know that Vincent and I are no longer together, after 8 years.. As time goes by I expect I will be able to open up about it. The past few years I have been stagnant. I still started a Master's program and got a new job as a manager, but I was just existing. I wasn't actually living my life. At the beginning of October I started a 6 week fitness challenge at a CrossFit gym in town. I lost 15 pounds and began to love myself again. But I still wasn't happy. It took the earth shattering, heart breaking, event to make me realize that I needed to do something about the way I have been living. I was one of those people who got up, went to work, came home and sat on the couch watching TV and waiting for the ...

Long Time

Hey everyone! It's been a very long time since I've written on here. This year so many things have changed! Vincent moved in with me at the end of December 2016, it has been going super great! I love waking up to him every morning (except when I work graves of course). I can't believe its been 8 months since we made that giant leap in our relationship, things have been moving along so smoothly. At the end of February I became a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant! Let me tell you, I was so nervous at first. The starter kit was $100 and it came with over $400 worth of product in it, so NO BRAINER, I signed up. I signed up wondering if I could make any money in the business of skin care and cosmetics, and I soon found out I could when at my first party I sold over $300 of product! Quickly I decided to invest in my business and milk it for all that I could, honestly, it hasn't been unrewarding. I've had so much personal growth, it's insane. I beg...
